Why is it called the Kalibutan Project?
The Kalibutan Project derives its name from the Kalibutan
Mindset: a design philosophy of the project’s creative director Debbie Palao. Its guiding principle is that designers should have a keen awareness of how we make things, why we make them, and what it means to the people that will use them.

Participating MSMEs
There are a total of 39 participating micro, small, and medium scale enterprises across Region 7.
Each participating small business will work together with the Kalibutan Project team to design team to conduct a total product and brand development.
